I am planning to walk S-N from Conca but so far access from Rome via Livorno seems to only go to Bastia and then bus to Porto Vecchio. Is there any other way to get to P-V by ferry?

The line between Livorno and Porto-Vecchio was operated by SNCM, but the service seems to be discontinued this year. Grimaldi Lines offer one crossing a week from June 22 till September 7 -- see their timetable.
