Hi I'm planning to walk the 6 days from Haute Asco to Vizzavona with my friends, is there any transport from Calvi to Haute Asco?

I havent much hiking experience as were only 18/19 years old so any idea on what we should be prepared for?

Also if you set off at 6am every morning should you take a long break during the stage from the mid-day sun? Or should we just keep going? I'm going mid July

Matt, public transport from Calvi to Haut Asco isn't simple. You would have to take the train from Calvi to Ponte Leccia and then the bus from Ponte Leccia to Haut Asco.

High mountains are not so hot even under mid-day sun, so the long break is not necessary I think.
