South to north in late September?
I'm planning to walk the GR 20 in late Sep. I'd like to ask for some advice. Is it easier to get to Conca from Ajaccio or Bastia? And by what means? What about Calenzana at the other end? What's the nearest airport I could link it up to? Or Calvi to Nice by ferry?
Any help much appreciated.

It is easier to get to Conca from Bastia by bus to Porto Vecchio. There is the Calvi airport near Calenzana, however flights are not very frequent there, so either a ferry to Nice or Bastia airport could be a better option.

I'm planning the same thing. Seems like most ferries from Nice at that time run to Bastia, so I am researching Conca to Calvi to Bastia which is proving a real headache (one bus a day Calvia to Bastia, which arrives too late for the ferry). Other option is Ajaccio to Nice. Hmmmm. See you on the trail?!

Hey,
Easiest way to get from Calvi to Bastia is by the train, it is the same price (about 16 euros per person) and is more frequent, at two a day! Warning though - the timing is all quite relaxed in Corsica - we never got a train that set off or arrived on time, most being around 30 minutes or more late so if it doesn't turn up on time, wait around a bit!
