Corsica trip planning for hikers

My son is hiking the trail right now and I am trying to call him on his cell phone but with no success. Should I be worried or it is a question of no phone signal in this rugged terrain ? Thanks

A signal is only available in a few places. Leave a message and wait a 1 to 3 days for a call back.
