But clearly written by someone who is not human. I doubled up a few stages but was this lass did was amazing unless you have almost nothing to carry!

Thanks for the plug. I think my daily mileages were more to do with early starts, and lightweight approach than any particular turn of speed! Doing it in June when it is a bit cooler helped too. There were a few other people who were doubling up stages most days too, so its not that uncommon.

My god, the author - I'm in awe! I totally agree weight and early starts are the key to a succesfull and quick hike. I thought I was travelling light (but I did camp) but, for example, not stopping at Asco after that descent and doing the CdC would have been a killer. That said I doubled up Asco to Mori, etc without too much bother. Anyway, a really great report. Thanks for the effort.
