Is it possible to camp near this route (in July)? Or are you in fact "obligated" to sleep somewhere else?
Thanks in advance.

svhoutvi,

if you're asking if wild camping is permitted, then the answer is no: camping is allowed only in specific areas.

Hello,
Our own experiences with this route are that.....

We camped on the terrace of the friendly gite in Bisinao after coming up from Poticcio. We did have food in the gite in the evening.

At Coti-Chiavari we had to take a room at a house in the village. Although I must say that the Mayor of the village allowed four French students to camp in the grounds of the church there.

We camped in the camp site in Porto-Pollo.

In Olmeto we took a room at the cafe in the main street.

At Burgo we stayed in another very friendly gite.

As Michele says that in Corsica 'wild camping' is not allowed on account of the fire risk being so great!
