Hi

Having a little dilemma regarding travel. We fly into Ajjacio but miss the first train to Calvi but the second train does not get us there around 8pm. we would then have to get a taxi to Calenzana...

Second option is to get a hire car for the day and drop it off at Calvi airport, but then what is the best option to get to Calanzana.

Thanks in advance Loui (using Danielles log in...)

Loui

When we flew into Bastia we hired a car and dropped it off at Calvi airport.
We walked 300m up to the airport terminal and joined the taxi queue and got talking to a French couple with rucksacks. As they were heading for Calenzana too, we all shared one taxi.
The hire car was a bit pricey but the taxi wasn't.
You can walk from the airport but you need to go half way into Calvi before you can turn onto the Calenzana road.
