Tent options near Porto Vecchio

We are in Port Vecchio 22-25 August and I am looking for advice from anyone who knows any good camp sites in the region where you can put up a small tent and swim on a lovely beach.

There are a lot of camp sites on the internet but they all want you to hire a bungalow/house, etc.

Do you have any suggestions???

thanks in advance

After coming from the hills we stayed a couple of days at the U Pirellu camping which had a wee swimming pool. Since the area around Porto Vecchio looked a bit grotty we managed to hitch a lift to the beach at Cala Rossa which is very strict allowing no picnic on the sands but the water there is superb. Very close to seemingly a very smart holiday hotel. Anyway the person who gave us a lift to CR spent the day with some friends and then ran us back to the camping.
Porto Vecchio is also not far...bus available...from Pinarellu camping where we have also stayed after our first trip to the GR20....beach and swimming there.

I can vouch for U Pinarellu. Nice campsite. Fantastic beach. There was another near the headland (Camping California - it's on Google Maps), which was supposedly on a naturist beach!

There's a Navette until the end of August: http://www.corsicabus.org/busPVecchio/PVE_Pinarello.html

I don't know whether it's possible fo find some tent rentals at Porto Vecchio. That's is why don't forget to bring your own beach tents. Don't you want to stay without a roof on your head? It's always the best idea to be prepared for the journey and have everything ready.
There is a lot of reasons for that, but the main reason is because things get very expensive in places with many tourists.
Amazon usually offers affordable price so I'd highly recommend to prepare ahead.
