1. Are the cabins still open and How Do We contavt them for booking?
2. Best way to Get to vizzavona?
3. Do We need tents?
4. Do We need to bring food?
5. Are the water safe for drinking?

Thankyou so much for Every answear!

1. Yes, although not mandatory you may book online through the Parc Naturel Regional de Corse website.
2. By train from Bastia Calvi or Ajaccio.
3. Unless 'refuges' are fully booked (... first come first served) you may not need a tent - some refuges even offer tents for rent.
4. Better have some food with you in case you get lost/delayed or can't afford meals at the refuges (there's a tiny grocery store at Vizzavona)
5. After this dry summer, some springs might be dry, or of a dubious quality (muddy, iron-rich). Ask the locals/staff at refuges whether fountains and sources are ok (most generally are).
