Getting to Calenzana

Hey everyone,
two friends and I are going to start the Gr 20 next week. We are going to arrive in Bastia at 18.00 on Sunday and were planning to get as close to the starting point of the trail (Calvi) as possible that evening. But we realized that there are no trains going in that direction anymore after 4 pm. Does anyone have experience with hitchhiking in Corsica? Or maybe some of you have an idea on how to get to Calvi or at least close since we originally wanted to start the hike the next day.
Or maybe someone is going in the direction of Calvi on the same day and would like three companions to pitch in for gas money, laughs and cookies on the way?

Thanks in advance,
Eli

Hitch-hiking works, but it's usually really slow and consists of short lifts and long waits.

I start GR20 02.10 morning from Calvi. I plan to order a taxi from the hotel in Calvi to Calenzana approx at 7 am. If you spend night in Calvi - we can get to Calenzana together.
