Hi, We are taking the trek this summer 1st-16th of July from the South to the North. We understand that we travel through Conca, Vizzavona and Calenzena. Where we will be able to re-stock for food. What i'm asking is if there are many places along the GR20 where we can restore our food supplies. If anyone could help guide us in terms of places to go or a rough guide on cost that would be great. We trekked the Haute route last summer so if anyone has done that it would also be great if we could get some comparisons between the two.

All the best,

There are opportunities to buy food to cook or cooked food to have a sit down meal at most of the overnight stops.
Also buy one of the guide books for the GR20 plenty of information and lineal maps in those.
Do you mean the route connecting Chamonix to Zermatt?.....not walked that route but I guess folks around here will have done so.

Buy food every day. It couldn't be simpler. The hard part is doing the trek. If you don't like the food they are selling at one place, you just walk another day over the mountains and see if the next place has anything better.
