Do the Refuges have Crocs/Slippers as in the Alps?

Hi,

In the alps, all of the huts have a boot room as you come in, where you take off your boots and put on a pair of lightweight slippers/crocs or whatever. Just reading the Cicerone guidebook, I got the impression this is not the case on the GR20?

I'd prefer not to bring my own, if they're available at the hut.

Thanks!

No the huts don't provide any slippers. As a rule hikers bring their own (also to use them in the showers).

When the Cicerone guidebook says the refuges are basic -they're basic. They're not like alpine huts. That's why most trekkers prefer to camp.
