Getting to/from Conca to Vizzavona

We are planning to do the southern half of the GR20 at the end of May/ beginning of June this year.
We will arrive at Corsica by car (ferry) a few days before, so now we are wondering:
1. If it is best to leave the car at Conca or at Vizzavona?
2. What our transport options are from Vizzavona to Conca or from Conca to Vizzavona.

We haven't decided if we want to do the trail North-South or South-North, this mainly depends on the parking and transport options. So anny suggestions are highly appreciated :)

Park your car in Conca (a village) or in Porto-Vecchio (a large town), as there is little parking space in the Vizzavona forest. Late snowfall can also make reaching/leaving Vizzavona by car complicated.

From Vizzavona you can go back to Porto-Vecchio by train+bus or bus+bus (via Ajaccio or Casamozza).
There's some on-demand minibus service between the Porto-Vecchio Bus Station and Conca.

Thanks for the reply :)
Do you perhaps also know of any secure parking in Porto-Vecchio or if the parking at Conca is sort of OK?
Because my boyfriend is quite fond of his car, so het doesn't want to leave it somewhere where there is a large risk it may be damaged.

There is a large parking area (4~6€ per day) next to the port, close to luxurious yachts, should be reasonably safe ;) The bus station is at its entrance, btw.

Conca is a modest village with narrow streets and no true parking lot, just ask some locals (at a bar, at the grocery store...) for some appropriate place to park your car for a week :)
