Hi there!

Is there anyone who knows where it´s possible to buy supplies for the GR20? I am planning to make the trail from North to South in the end of July. I am flying in from sweden so I am not able to bring gaz for my stove. What kind of models of gaz is possible to buy on the trail? I am planning to bring a primus-burner.

Hi Douglas,
we had the same problem 2 years ago. So I have bad news for you. It´s very difficult to buy gas bomb for primus cooker somewhere in French especially in Corsica. There is no problem to buy bombs for Campingaz cooker, we bought it in Calenzana in small marktet (Spar). But you can in all cottages (refuges) use public cookers but I think that is better to have also your own cooker....

Thanks for the info Petr!

Better to check in advance what kind of gas that is possible to get on the Island.
It seems to me quite strange that they don´t have gas for Primus and still using bombs for Campingaz.

Luckely I will bring a primus cooker that can use oil, diesel, gas and petrol...I guess that the Island provides petrol?

For anyone not familiar with the systems associated with the brands, what I did find at a supermarket in Calenzana were the pierce type, and the click type (never heard of that one before) but NOT the screw-on type, which was the one I needed for my Optimus Crux...

One should take the adapter from Markill with you to avoid trouble.

75gr, and very small but suitable for click type's tot screw type.
