What is the situation about pre booking a taxi ( 7 in our party ) from the airport in Calvi to Conca on a Sunday ( July ) for a south to north traverse of the GR. Any ideas about cost too. --- Fiona

there are several possiblilities

by train from Calvi to Corte and then get a taxi to conca
must be cheaper...
pherhaps it is more interesting to fly directly from your country to Figari if you want to leave south to north...
or wait untill monday and get a bus...
pherhaps it is possible to find a navette (small bus) to bring your group to conca. call the gite owner off "la tonnelle" and try to find an agreement to pick you up in Corte then you have at least a price in advance. 0495 714655 http://gitelatonnelleconca.monsite.orange.fr/
