Me and a friend will be walking the GR20 from approximately the 14th sept - 1st october.

Can anyone confirm what the accomadation in the refuges will be like at this time - will we be able to get a bed every night or is it wise to carry a tent. I would prefer not to because of the extra weight, and have heard the refuges are fairly quiet this late in the season. Will they still be stocking food as well?

Also how cold does it get during the night around this time of year - if i do need to buy a tent will it need to withstand cold temperatures and winds?

Thanks in advance for any replys, they are much appreciated.
