Hello,

This is my first time on the GR20 and have a couple questions regarding stages and camping fuel.

1) would like to complete the northern half (calenzana>vizzanova) in 7 days. Any suggestions for stage combinations? I will be on trail on September 27th, need to be back in Calvi (via Vizzanova) by October 5th. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

2) it seems that food availability may be spotty this time of year and so I wanted to bring a stove as back up. I will be flying so can't bring my own fuel canisters. I have a jetboil which requires screw-style canisters and it seems those are hard to find in Calvi. Any suggestions for another stove that will be easy to locate fuel for.... or, is a stove even needed for the first week of October?

Thanks in advance for responses,

greg

Hi Greg,

I am also pressed for time will either double stages or cut my walk short. I found suggestions for doubling stages on http://www.clubtread.com/sforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19182 . If you scroll down through the page, there is a list of stages that somebody doubled and how long the walking day was.
