White church in Olmi-Cappella

Olmi-Cappella is a small village (144 inhabitants) located in the Giunssani micro region on the east most border of the Balagne region. In fact, Olmi and Cappella are two villages joined together, and the beautiful church on the photo is situated between them. Rugged peaks of Aiguilles de Popolasca raising to 2180 m makes a wonderful background.

The 2nd stage of the hiking route from l'Ile Rousse to Corte ends in Olmi-Cappella.
