Agriates Desert
The Agriates Desert (Désert des Agriates in French) is located in the North Corsica between Saint Florent and the Ostricone River. Even though it is called a desert, it isn't absolutely dry. There are green shrubs and even flowers among rocks, at least in Spring.
I took this photo from the road on the desert's eastern edge in April 2006.
