L'île-Rousse (L'Isula Rossa in Corsican) is a small town in Northern Corsica. It was established by Pascal Paoli in 1759 to counterbalance the influence of Genoese Calvi.
I took the photo in April 2006. It shows the town's parade with the port of Ile Rousse and a large SNCM ferry boat in background.
